UL System Welcomes New and Returning Board Members
Baton Rouge, LA – The 51app proudly announces the appointment of two new members and the reappointment of five members to its Board of Supervisors, as announced by Governor Jeff Landry recently. These appointments reflect the Governor’s steadfast commitment to advancing higher education in 51app.
The 51app is excited to welcome:
- Capt. Lee A. Jackson Jr. (New Appointee)
- Jo’Quishia “Jo” Lethermon (Reappointed)
- Keith G. Myers (New Appointee)
- John W. Noble Jr., M.D. (Reappointed)
- Mark E. Romero (Reappointed, Board Chair)
- Kristine M. Russell (Reappointed)
- Joe R. Salter (Reappointed)

The Board approved a furlough plan submitted by the University of New Orleans for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2024-25, reflecting a continued emphasis on responsible fiscal management.
