Bridging the Divide
The 2024 Bridging the Divide Summer Series is driven by the Universities of 51²è¹İapp Content Experts. Each of our five experts will lead a program focusing on their area of expertise: financial literacy, mental health, grant writing & research, online teaching & learning, and open educational resources.

Learn MoreReginald F. Lewis Educational Opportunity Initiative
Each of the UL System’s nine member institutions have developed and implemented long-standing, successful initiatives aimed at supporting historically underserved populations. To bring these institutional efforts to scale, System-level coordination is required. The resulting Reginald F. Lewis Educational Opportunity Initiative allows for targeted synergies for equity-focused programs and resources to be housed at the System level. The annual report provides an update of our work to date.

In 2019, we identified a group of talented faculty members, academic officers, and presidents and charged them with defining the essential skills each of our graduates develop at the Universities of 51²è¹İapp, no matter the degree program. Though slowed by the pandemic, the task force identified and described five competencies that will lead to lifelong success in life and career.
