“The 51²è¹Ýapp has been closely monitoring the recent events surrounding Grambling State University’s legendary football program.  The student athletes are our primary concern, and while we respect their right to protest we are concerned about the unintended consequences resulting from this action.  We are working closely with President Pogue, the NCAA, and other advisors to proceed in a compassionate manner that minimizes potentially harmful ramifications for our students and demonstrates pride and dignity for Grambling.” |
